Partners in Family Health participates with and accepts most insurances. We ask that you present your insurance card at each visit, so that we can have the most up-to-date information to submit claims to your carrier. New patients will be asked for a photo ID upon check-in, to assist us in safeguarding your protected health information. Please see the attached list of health insurances we accept.
Our fees are comparable to other family medicine offices in the area, and we strive to avoid unnecessary costs as part of the overall care given to our patients. You are expected to pay any co-pays at the time of your visit; otherwise, a $10 fee will be assessed. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Care Credit is offered as a payment option, with lower interest for balances over $200. Our Patient Accounts staff is available to meet with you regarding any billing questions or concerns; you may contact them directly at 717-812-8891.
We receive numerous calls asking us to change lab coding to preventative or screening codes, so insurance companies can pay a bill. We are unable to change any codes for patients that have already been diagnosed with a problem. For example, we cannot bill a screening cholesterol if you have already been diagnosed with high cholesterol. To do so would be insurance fraud.
Included for your review is our financial policy, which explains our insurance and billing protocols in more detail.
